Mega control room multiviewer installation, Harris Predator II GX

[:el]Έπειτα από προσεκτική επιλογή και σε συνεργασία με το Mega Channel, η AmyDV εγκατέστησε στο Control του Mega Channel, Multiviewer της νέας σειράς Harris Predator II GX. Οδηγούν ένα κομψό video wall 6 οθονών (2×3) και υλοποιήθηκε πλήρης σύνδεση με τον mixer τον οποίο διέθετε το κανάλι.
Εκτενείς δοκιμές πραγματοποιήθηκαν κατά τις οποίες δοκιμάστηκε η ποιότητα, η ευελιξία και το delay της συνολικής λύσης και διαπιστώθηκαν τα εγγενή πλεονεκτήματα έναντι της παλαιότερης αρχιτεκτονικής των διακριτών δρομολογήσεων και απεικονίσεων σε οθόνες με ξεχωριστά ρολόγια, UMD, Tally και όλες τις σχετικές καλωδιώσεις και καθυστερήσεις. Το UMD και Tally mapping γίνεται απ ευθείας από τους multiviewer της Harris, βασιζόμενοι στο νέο λογισμικό εγκατάστασης και λειτουργίας ZConfigurator.
Η εγκατάσταση ολοκληρώθηκε απο την AmyDV σε συνεργασία με το τεχνικό τμήμα του Mega.
Την καλωδίωση σε full 1080p ανέλαβε και διεκπεραίωσε το τμήμα AmyDV.[:en]After careful choice and in collaboration with Mega Channel, AmyDV installed in Control #2 of Mega Channel, a multiviewer of the new line Harris Predator II GX. They drive an elegant video wall of 6 SAMSUNG monitor screens (2×3). The multiviewer setup is completely connected with the stations vision mixer to provide full UMD/ Tally information for the inputs.
Extensive trials were realised at which the quality, the flexibility and delay the total solution was tested and the innate advantages of the new generation of multiviewers against the older architecture of distinguishable routings and depictions in screens with separate clocks, UMD, Tally and the all relative wirings and delays was realised.
This is the first installation of the new multiviewers in Greece. More information on the specific award winning multiviewers can be found on the Imagine Communications website.
The installation was completed very successfully and for this reason the same solution was selected for the new continuity installation being performed these days in a new location at the channels premices.
The wiring and installation in full 1080p was undertook and fulfilled by the AmyDV. The technical department of Mega undertook the audio / video wiring interconnection with the Vision Mixer. The UMD and Tally mapping is handled directly by the Harris multiviewer without the need for external mapping devices, based on the new software of  ZConfigurator.[:]
