Αντίθετα με άλλα telecine και real-time scanners, το ScanStation Personal επιτρέπει σε κάποιον με ελάχιστη εκπαίδευση να μετατρέπει film απευθείας σε ψηφιακή μοργή σε ταχύτητα μέχρι και 30 fps. Εικόνα και ήχος μετατρέπονται ταυτόχρονα σε πολλαπλά format όπως QuickTime ProRes (UHD/HD), DPX, και TIFF — όλα σε μια περασιά χωρίς να χρειαστεί post-processing!
