AmyDV: The storage specialists

Be Part of the best storage solution

AmyDV has the ability to build for you a tailormade storage for any purpose you need.

Below we present the technologies, which ςε can combine them, that you can use on a storage:

NAS: Network-attached storage (NAS) is a dedicated file storage that enables multiple users and heterogeneous client devices to retrieve data from centralized disk capacity.

DAS: Direct-attached storage (DAS) is a fairly basic, low-maintenance, low-cost solution where the storage system is a part of the actual host computer or connected directly to the host computer.

RAID: Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks (RAID) is a technology that is used to increase the performance and/or reliability of data storage. A RAID system consists of two or more drives working in parallel. There are many RAID levels, 0-1-5-6-10 for example.

LTO: Linear Tape Open (LTO) Ultrium is a high-capacity, single-reel tape storage solution technology. There are 8 generations of LTO, where each one has different specs.

LTFS: LTFS is a file system that allows files stored on magnetic tape to be accessed in a similar fashion to those on disk or removable flash drives. It requires both a specific format of data on the tape media and software to provide a file system interface to the data

LTO Archive:  LTO Archive can be used to mount a tape as a drive on your computer and access files as you would with a drive.

SHARED PROJECTS: Shared Projects are a great way to manage files that you want to, well, share between different projects. We can say that Shared Projects is a container for Files.

FIBER: Fiber optic connectivity provides faster data transmission rates, high bandwidth (approx. 1000 times traditional copper cabling), and much greater transmission range (distance).

40Gbe -100Gbe: 40 Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) and 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) are groups of computer networking technologies for transmitting Ethernet frames at rates of 40 and 100 gigabits per second (Gbit/s).

Cloud Share: Cloud file sharing provides end users with the ability to access files with any Internet-capable device from any location.

Cloud Backup: The backup process copies data and stores it on different media or another storage system for easy access in the event of a recovery situation.Cloud backup services can be done with three ways, Backing up directly to the public cloud, Backing up to a service provider, Cloud-to-cloud backup.
