Some features have been modified including:
| • | Bit rate adjustment up to 300 Mbps on MPEG-2 I-frame captures with RT.X2. This feature is now the same on the Axio and RT.X2 platforms. |
| • | Full-raster timeline support on RT.X2 in addition to the 1440 native HDV resolution that was previously supported. This feature is now the same on the Axio and RT.X2 platforms. |
| • | Full multicam layout support of all four cameras on your output monitor. Toggling between the outputs is no longer supported. |
Certain features will not be supported with Adobe CS5 including:
| • | Matrox GPU effects |
| • | Accelerated exports |
CS5 will be the last major Adobe software release that Matrox will support on the Axio and RT.X2 product lines, but you can rest assured we will continue to offer the outstanding technical support you have come to expect from Matrox.

The official release of Matrox Axio and RT.X2 drivers for Adobe CS5 Production Premium is available for download. We have worked on optimizing our realtime playback engine to operate natively in the Windows 64-bit architecture and on providing the tightest integration ever with Premiere Pro. The work we have done will provide you with increased stability and enhancements to the Adobe Mercury Playback Engine to provide full-resolution, full-frame-rate, multi-layer, realtime video editing with all the native Adobe codecs.
You will continue to benefit from most of the key Axio and RT.X2 features that you currently enjoy including:
