PlayBox Technology’s New CloudAir Application Selected to Support Tata Communications’ New Global Broadcast Playout Service.
Η νέα εικονική (virtual) εφαρμογή CloudAir της PlayBox Technology, επελέγη από την Tata Communications, πρωτοπόρο πάροχο της New World of Communications™, για την υποστήριξη της νέας υπηρεσίας της broadcast playout στο υπολογιστικό νέφος (cloud). Η νέα υπηρεσία broadcast playout, η οποία ανακοινώθηκε αρχικώς στη NAB 2015, ως μέρος της βασιζόμενης-στο-υπολογιστικό νέφος πλατφόρμας οικοσυστήματος μέσων της Tata Communications, θα είναι διαθέσιμη τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015 και προσβάσιμη με πλήρως βασιζόμενο-σε-IP έλεγχο συνδεσιμότητας στους πελάτες σε όλον τον κόσμο.
Το CloudAir από την PlayBox Technology αποτελεί ένα καθολικό σύστημα τηλεοπτικού playout και streaming, το οποίο σχεδιάστηκε για συνεχή λειτουργία χωρίς επιτήρηση. Κάθε clip στην playlist, εκτός εκείνου που αναπαράγεται στον αέρα, μπορεί να τριμαριστούν, τροποποιηθούν, ή να τοποθετηθούν εκ νέου. Η σειρά της Playlist μπορεί να αλλάξει άμεσα με τη χρήση εντολών όπως skip-to-next, ή jump. Αλλαγές πραγματοποιούνται απρόσκοπτα χωρίς την παύση του τρέχοντος playout session. Ζωντανές παραγωγές διευκολύνονται από το Live Show clipboard, το οποίο επιτρέπει την εισαγωγή και/ή την υλοποίηση διαφόρων events, ή ζωντανών streams. Το CloudAir δέχεται MPEG1/2/H.264, HDV και DV streams, πρακτικά από κάθε γνωστή πλατφόρμα παραγωγής που παρέχει AVI, MPEG, WMV, Quick Time, ή MXF περιεχόμενο. Αρχεία από servers άλλων κατασκευαστών υποστηρίζονται εγγενώς. Επίσης, το CloudAir υλοποιεί on-air γραφικά, τα οποία μπορούν να ελεγχθούν διαδραστικά. Οι πελάτες μπορούν να προ-διαμορφώσουν τα templates ώστε να ταιριάζουν στις απαιτήσεις τους, μειώνοντας οιαδήποτε ανάγκη για μεταγενέστερη χειροκίνητη παρέμβαση.

PlayBox Technology’s new CloudAir virtual application has been selected by Tata Communications, a leading provider of A New World of Communications™, to support its new cloud broadcast playout service. The new broadcast playout service, originally announced at NAB 2015 as part of Tata Communications’ cloud-based media ecosystem platform, will be available in September 2015 and accessible under full IP-based connectivity control to customers globally.

CloudAir from PlayBox Technology is a universal television playout and streaming system designed for continuous unattended operation. Every clip in the playlist, except the one which is currently playing, can be trimmed, edited or repositioned. Playlist order can be changed on-the-fly using commands such as skip-to-next or jump. Changes are performed seamlessly without stopping current playout session. Live productions are facilitated by a Live Show clipboard which allows insertion and/or execution of various events or live streams. CloudAir accepts MPEG1/2/H.264, HDV and DV streams from practically every known production platform providing AVI, MPEG, WMV, Quick Time or MXF content. Files from third-party servers are natively supported. CloudAir also delivers on-air graphics which can be controlled interactively. Customers can preconfigure the templates to match their requirements, eliminating any need for subsequent manual interference.
